Description
The basis for Dr. Weyrauch's No. 24 Bauchfein is resistant starch, in combination with oat fibre and psyllium. Resistant starch has the advantage of remaining undigested in the large intestine. Only there is it completely decomposed by intestinal bacteria and converted to the fatty acid butyrate, a compound of butyric acid.
A carefully selected herbal mixture of aniseed, fennel, caraway, dill, peppermint, cumin, chilli and artichoke, which is optimised with important trace elements, deserves special mention.
- Zinc & copper contribute to normal metabolism, cell protection against oxidative damage and a normal immune system.
- Manganese contributes to the formation of normal connective tissue.
- Iodine contributes to normal energy metabolism, a normal nervous system, the maintenance of normal skin and normal production of thyroid hormones as well as normal thyroid function.
