Description
Different factors such as varying humidity, dryness or hard ground can put the hoof to the test, often causing cracks or splits in the hooves. An excessively moist environment offers a breeding ground for bacteria, leading to problems like thrush and other inflammations.
Equanis developed the HoofOptimizer treatment to support the long-term improvement of the hoof material. The product contains a special keratin-based composition combined with diatomaceous earth, zinc and biotin that supports the keratin found in the hooves, making them stronger.
Feeding recommendation (horses weighing 600 kg):
- Feed 30g per day. One measuring spoonful = 15g.
