For use as a complementary feed for breeding horses

Ration guidance & feeding notes:

• Provide at least 1.5 kg of forage (hay) per 100 kg bodyweight each day.
• For lactating mares, stallions covering mares and foals, early first-cut hay is recommended wherever possible (up to 2.5 kg of hay per 100 kg bodyweight).
• Divide the recommended daily feed amount between at least 2 meals.
• This complementary feed contains higher levels of trace elements and vitamin D3 than complete feeds and must therefore only be fed in accordance with these guidelines.
• Ensure plenty of fresh drinking water is available at all times.

Essential amino acids supplied by L-lysine, soya and brewer's yeast provide nutritional support for your foal's development and your mare's milk production. Calcium, phosphorus, copper, zinc and manganese provide targeted nutrition during growth, while selenium yeast supplies highly bioavailable selenium to support metabolism.

Breeding stallions also benefit from this nutrient-rich formulation. Beta-carotene, together with vitamins A and E, supports their nutritional needs during the covering season and helps maintain an even temperament. A moderate level of readily digestible starch makes the muesli particularly easy on the digestive system. Broodmares' nutritional requirements rise significantly from the eighth month of pregnancy, and this complementary feed is ideally suited to meeting those increased needs. For optimal nutrient uptake, divide the daily amount into several small meals throughout the day.
