Product description:

The gently processed meadow fibres from the Allgäu provide a natural, fibre-rich basis for your horse’s daily ration. Harvesting the species-rich meadow grasses and herbs later in the season results in a naturally high fibre content, helping to support normal digestive function. The carefully selected blend is also naturally lower in protein and fructan, making it a suitable option for horses with particular nutritional requirements. It provides useful energy and fibre as part of a balanced feeding programme.

The practical pressed format makes the meadow chips easy to portion and particularly quick to soak. Their dust-free, additive-free composition makes them well suited to sensitive horses, while soaking creates a soft consistency that can make feeding easier for senior horses and those with dental difficulties. The chips can be used as a complete hay replacement when travelling, to complement the forage ration or as an additional source of fibre mixed with hard feed. Once soaked, they are also a practical way to mix in supplements that your horse may otherwise be reluctant to eat.
