Feeding guidance & notes:
- 1 litre marstall Meadow Cobs = approx. 550 grams.
- 1 kg marstall Meadow Cobs replaces 1 kg hay.
- The recommendations are generally based on a roughage intake of 1.5 kg hay per 100 kg body weight per day.
- Soak the cobs in water until they have fully broken down, using approx. 2.5 to 3.0 litres of water per 1 kg of cobs for around half an hour.
marstall Meadow Cobs are made from 100% pure, natural highland meadow grass from the Allgäu region. Thanks to the late cutting time, they have a high crude fibre content with low fructan and low protein levels. Gentle chopping and immediate warm-air drying ensure dust-free quality without additives.
As a natural source of roughage, the cobs help complement your horse’s daily feeding routine. Soaked in water, they are a tasty, easy-to-eat meal, especially for older horses or horses with chewing difficulties. They can also be used as a practical hay replacement at competitions or while travelling.

good cost quality ratio
With hay cubs getting so expensive this brand has a good qualiy cost ratio. I like the bigger size and i can use them also as treats.
