Description
Horses with a sensitive metabolism and resulting complaints such as EMS, Cushing's disease, PSSM, sweet itch and laminitis often need to follow a low-fructan diet. Recreational horses can also benefit from being fed a lower-energy diet. Timothee Cobs supplement the horse's basic feed ration with a raw fibre-rich component with a lower sugar and fructan content.
The structure-rich Timothee Cobs made from 100% Timothee grass are ideal for horses with metabolic problems thanks to their low fructan and sugar content. The protein-reduced formula can have a beneficial effect on the horse's digestion and is sufficient to cover the energy requirements of a leisure horse. Soaked cobs can also be fed to dust-sensitive horses and horses with dental problems.
