Stiefel Electrolyte, 1 kg

Stiefel Electrolyte is a feed supplement to compensate for electrolyte losses. When horses sweat excessively, due to high temperatures or heavy exertion for instance, they lose minerals through their sweat. Stiefel Electrolyte contains many electrolytes (minerals) and glucose and can contribute to rapid regeneration after strenuous exercise. Stiefel Electrolyte is suitable for sport horses as well as foals and old horses.

Tip: During intense activity or high temperatures, sufficient roughage should be provided, as the crude fibre binds water in the intestines and serves as stored water.

Feeding recommendation :

To compensate for electrolyte losses caused by excessive sweating
Large horses (600 kg bw) 50 g - 100 g daily
Small horses 30 g - 60 g daily
Recommended feeding duration: 1- 3 days
Ensure free access to drinking water at all times. Please seek the advice of a vet before feeding.

To stabilise the water and electrolyte balance, if there is a risk of, during or after digestive disorders (diarrhoea)
Foals 50 g - 100 g daily
Recommended feeding duration 1 - 7 days (1 - 3 days if fed alone)
