Nature's Best Energy Cobs

The Energy Cobs from the Struktur Natur Pur product line contain a recipe of fibre-rich components such as grass hay, alfalfa and the whole maize plant. In the manufacturing process, the individual components are carefully cut and gently dried, which extends the shelf life. A large proportion of the vitamins and minerals are preserved and available to the horse.

Alfalfa is known for its high protein content. Using the whole maize plant has the advantage that the maize grains provide the horse with carbohydrates, while the fibre-rich leaves and stems can intensify chewing. The increased salivation can favour the soaking of the food components, which increases the digestibility.

The combination provides highly digestible proteins with sufficient energy, making it ideal for feeding underweight, lactating and active horses. Energy Cobs can also serve as an optimal supplementary feed for older horses and growing horses.
